Today I must say is an interesting Day, to say the least. Any one who knows me well also knows that I am a Professional Bloggaholic.
I blog anything and everything From Aadhaar that has 14500 posts and nearly 1.5 million hits to my Suicides in IITs Blog which I created in 2011 as there were too many Suicides in IITs and Alumni effort to assist with on line counselling was rejected by an IIT Director in 2005 and from 2005 to 2011 the number of suicides rose to shocking levels yet IIT administrators were sweeping these deaths under the carpet as if it was merely collateral damage.
Today My Blog is the Archive for all Suicides in IITs. The Listing is Limited to this century as Dr.Google could not help me find more on line info on suicides in the past as News articles were only published on paper and Google was not around then.
Suicides in IITs has received over 350K hits and is a Pit stop for Journos investigating new Suicides in IITs. I have received hundreds of calls in the last nine years for phone interviews or written opinion. I decline these requests flatly as my first experience turned sour. I gave a lengthy interview by email but what was published was not what I had said but twisted interpretation of the Journo who wanted to keep his job and be politically correct. So It was a Hog Wash so no more interviews to Journalists.

I say today is interesting as the main source of all my informations was Dr.Google. I even use Google for spell checks to over rule the autocorrect which wants me to use Z instead of S in many words.
Again Going back to why I say it is an interesting Day, every night at 6.00pm I get all my Daily Google Alerts Providing me the latest info for all my Blogs. Last Night I received No Google Alerts.
Last nights news was about the Australian Treasurer taking on Google and Face Book for providing Links to the latest news articles on what ever topic you were interested in especially on Corona Virus. The Pitch was in defence of News Papers that were publishing articles which were going for broke as the demand was printed news papers plummeted and they complained to the Govt

So I turned to Dr Google to see if Google had made any changes to google alerts. Google Alerts were still the Same and there appeared to be no change.
What is Google Alert ? you may ask

Just out of Curiosity I googled my own name which I have not done may be in the last five years and was I in for a Surprise. I just Keyed in Ram Krishnaswamy and Yes I was there on the first page along with many other namesakes.
So I added Sydney to the search and 75% was about me but a few other Ram Krishnaswamy's live in Sydney too I learnt. So had to drill down further and I keyed in Ram Krishnaswamy Rambo Sydney

I returned to Sydney in 2009 very ill having miraculously survived the Dengue Fever.
One damn Mossy bite almost killed me. Dengue infection means over night the person's Platelet count which is between 150 to 300 for healthy people platelet count plummets drastically to even as low as 25 requiring immediate blood transfusion.
Ever Wondered why the platelet drops ?
it makes the blood so thin that people can bleed to death and that means Mosquitoes can drink blood effortlessly like we drink with straws :-)
Me the unlucky Jonah was suffering from thrombocytosis already which meant very high platelet count. Count was 890 in April 2000 and was down to 550 with treatment just two days before dengue infection in Jan 2009 in Madras. One Mossy not only brought me down to my knees as I could not stand up and all my joints were filled with fluid, it also brought my platelet count plummeting overnight to 220 down from 550 a drop of 330 that would have killed any normal person but not me. Blessing in disguise..
220 being the normal I did not require any blood transfusion in India. I stayed away from the computer and keyboard for a long long as my fingers were in Pain and hence missed Muralis Post
I had to get a full body scan and the Rhumatologist in Sydney Dr Porter said Damn I have never seen anything like this ever "There is Fluid in each and every Joint Head to foot". He had never treated a Dengue Patient and diagnosed my condition as severe Rhumatoid Arthritis (which I did not have) and prescribed Prednisone a Steroid that would create havoc with my blood sugars. Never bought the medicine instead relied on Papaya Leaf Juice instead and it did help but took a long time. Dr.Google helped me find the Papaya Man in Queensland Australia Tom MacArthur and here is my Blog PawPawMan

I have opposed UID/Aadhaar from day one based on my knowledge of the fact Australians rejected the Idea of a Universal ID for mainly privacy reasons plus it allows a Government elected by the people unprecedented powers to spy on its own citizens which can become a Huge Problem when we elect autocrats by mistake. Hitler used the IBM Computer and a basic database to identify each and every jew in Germany and place a mark on their residences to be picked up on trumped up charges and sent to the auschwitz Camps for execution. I dislike Nandan Nilekani who used his wealth and success to get appointed as a Cabinet Minister sans elections. He had all the money to be content and happy. No People with Money want to buy Power and people with Power abuse their powers to make money like most politicians in India. Not Long after UK Dumped the ID Card after spending 650 million sterling pounds on it. Australia and UK are democracies in the true sense. Now CAA and Corona are great excuses for the Indian Govt to abuse the peoples rights using Aadhaar to spy on people using tracking app. This was anticipated by activists like me way back in 2009 and we still remain opposed. Not long before dna is linked to Aadhaar numbers too and all Indians will be reduced to mere numbers with a bar code except the rich and powerful as they are always above the law.
Any way what is interesting is I had forgotten that I had rewritten the lyrics of a Popular Hindi Song to suit Aadhaar. Honestly Forgot and even I am wondering if I really did that then.

Hi All,
The whole poem just about sums up what is already the state of distress in which most 'unprivileged' 'un-elite' Indians live!
It's not about - "Socho Kabhi aisa ho to kya ho" but "hamare saath hamesha aisa kyon hota hai?" the refrain of the poor and downtrodden.

I wish some so-called enlightened and elite people of India could glance out of their comfortable lives and see the truth!!
What they are so afraid will happen to them IN THE FUTURE is already the fact of life for the poor and powerless.
Sorry for being such a 'wet blanket,' but I these things are happening everyday and they are also reported in the news, so it cannot escape
our notice if we care to see beyond ourselves.
Today, I went to a govt office and was speaking to a lower-level manager there. Just asked him casually if he felt that a UID is a good
thing or a bad thing. He promptly said it was good, and started talking about how in Kolar a lot of people have ration cards, and these
are got only for ID purposes. Because no provisions are given to them on it... all diverted to the 'black market.'
Regards,
Pushpa

My Wife and I attended a alumni reunion in Gods Own Country Kumarakom in Dec 2013 and got to reconnect with some special buddies one of whom was an absolute genius by my standards, me being the dumbo or dope as many called me on campus. Vickram Prabhu who had come with his mother and sister as wife and son were in USA. We had returned to Sydney and on 31st Dec I saw the bad news that Vickram who was still In Bangalore with his Mother died in his sleep on 29th Dec. A very special friend whom Mithu took to straight away had passed away.
The least I could do was create a Blog as a Tribute to the dear departed.
I published an article with another good Mate Vicram Krishna an IIT Delhi Alumnus in EPW Magazine titled "Rebuttal to UDAI"
OK I better Stop here. I woke up with other Plans for the day which was to spend the day in the Garden and it is already 3.47PM. Just enough Time left to water my plants and take Bailey for a walk.
Will Continue later
This "Who am I question ? has been around since 2000 when my first life came to an abrupt end and I am still batting strong in my second innings. This brings me to a song that I did write the lyrics for using my limited Hindi. Damn I just cannot find this now....
Mmmm What would I do without Spot Light. It found my song on my computer
Who am I ?
Main Kaun Hoon?

Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
Mein Kaun Hoon ??
Mein Baahar se dhek raha hoon
Eh Badan to Mera Nahin
Sirf is Zindagi ke liye
Yeh shareer humko milee
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zhindagi Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
Mein Sirf Mein Hoon
Naa Naar, Naa Nari
Afsoos hoon Afsoos hoon Mein Ki
Mein Hindu Musalman ya Isahee
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindago Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
Na Yeh Rishtha Na Yeh Daulat
Na Yeh Pyar Na Yeh Mohabbat
Hamari hai Sabb Jhoota Hai,
Sabb Jhoota Hai
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
Jab mein aakhiri saans le lun
Mera naam Ghum Jaayega
Sab Dhuk se rone lagenge
Aur haemin samajne na paya ki
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Re, Thu Hi Batha
