I penned this article on 3rd May 2020 and today the 27th of May 2021 I received a Whatsapp forward that shares my views that we human's have become the 2 legged Virus destroying this earth.
Yes we have no one else to blame but ourselves for devastating Mother Earth to appease our Greed.

My Hypothesis:
I am beginning to think and believe that we human beings were nothing but a form of VIRUS in a layman's way of thinking meaning PESTS that destroyed nature and the world.
A Pest no different to a White Ants that ate through Timber, a Pest like a Caterpillars with its voracious appetite. and perhaps the worst PEST on Earth that would not allow any other species to co-exist peacefully.
I just did a Random Google search here on Human beings and hit a Big Jackpot straight away and found this invaluable publication.

The earliest direct ancestor of Modern Human was Homo Erectus in South Africa (according to experts) 2 Million Years ago. 1.6 million years ago humans used stone axes for killing and butchering other animals. 90,000 years ago Homosapiens inhabited Africa and Australia only about 60,000 years ago and in Asia only 30,000 years ago. 15,000 years ago Mongoloids from Asia Colonised North America and colonised South America only 12000 years ago.
Domestication of sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs etc started only 10000 years ago. Domestication of Cattle and Horses commenced much later about 6000 years ago in Iran and Ukraine.
Bronze age started 4000 years ago and hence metal implements to attack and kill other animals.
3000 years ago estimated human population was only 50 million and Iron age started only 2700 years ago in Europe
1120 years ago explosives and gunpowder were used in warfare by Chinese
670 years ago Black Death Bacilli aka Yersinia Pestis carried by Rats kills half the human population across much of Europe. Wow
360 years ago the world population increases to about 500 Million from 50 million 3000 years ago. So humans were breeding faster than ever
105 years ago WW-I (1914 to 1918) killed 20 million People.
100 years ago Spanish Flu Epidemic (1918 to 1920) killed 20 to 50 million people. (Anybody's guess as no one counted then).
90 Years ago in 1928 Alexander Fleming created the very first antibiotic called Penicillin and 1930 also symbolised the Great Global Depression.
We had WW-II, 80 years ago (1939 to 1945) 184 nations drawn into the war and over 60 Million Killed including genocide of 6 Million Jews in Holocaust 1941 to 1945.
Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed on 6th and 9th of August 1945 by USA killed instantly an estimated 130,000 and 230,00 people even though Germany had surrendered on 8th May 1945. Japanese ignored the demand from Allied forced for an unconditional surrender on 26th July 1945 and the Japanese ignored the ultimatum and paid the price.
Loss of Lives in WW II did not teach feuding humans a lesson and the wars continued the Korean War (early 1950s) with over 5 million deaths, the Vietnam War (around 1970) about 1.6 million, and the Iran-Iraq and Afghanistan wars (1980s).
According tom Jack Ma there have been over 45 wars since WW II and USa has spent over 18 trillion dollars. I tried to count total loss of life since WW II in wars and lost count twice already. In 2010 Humans created the first Replicating synthetic bacterial cell ( Ouch) Seven years ago in 2013 First genome editing in Human cell cultures using CRISPR -Cas9 enzyme a Cheap and accurate Gene editing was accomplished ( don't ask me what this is as I have no clue).
Believe it or not just four years back in 2016 mankind removed 60,000 sq kilometers of Tropical Primary Forests unprecedented in Human History.
In 2017 ust three years ago accumulation of plastic waste since 1959 exceeds 5 Billion metrics tonnes in Landfills and natural environment and the oceans, more that 10 times the global human biomass.
Two years ago it was estimated that the Human Biomass exceeded that of all wild animals (not so wild as we bred them) combined by ten times, due in large part in breeding them to eat them.
Just last year first global assessment of bio diversity finds that One million of the earths 8 million species threatened with extinction.
1st December 2019 marks the very first case of Covid 19 Corona Virus pandemic triggering lock down of nations and societies worldwide; about 4.5 Billion People under Containment within 5 months by May 2020.
Now Just Pause and think if we human beings are the REAL Pests and Virus on the Earth

In the beginning Mankind was just another mammal attacked and slaughtered by stronger wild animals we now know as the big five. In Africa, the Big Five game animals are the lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo. The term was coined by big-game hunters, and refers to the five most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot.
Man was no match to combat the Lion, Leapord and other large cats and Rhinocerous, Elephant or Buffalo. So man hid in caves and fought animals with sticks and stones and later fire. When this happened all the smaller and defenceless creatures like Rabbits, goat, sheep, deer. pigs etc went into hiding in the forests on seeing a human being whilst the big Five attacked. Then came the Bronze age and knives, swords and spears and bows and arrows followed. This meant man could kill any animal from a distance without physical combat. The Big five were fighting a losing battle. Then came the gun powder which meant man could kill any animal any size for far far away and the poor creatures never knew what hit them and what killed them or their kind.
Man's confidence grew with time and he eventually took over the entire planet driving all other species into hiding and many underground and many wiped out to become extinct as man started to kill birds and animals indiscriminately just for kicks and called the Sport "Hunting" a sadistic Pleasure.

Today in 2020 we arrogant humans who preyed and destroyed animals and birds indiscriminately unlike the predatory mammals that kill only to eat and not otherwise and we have become the hunted animal today.
We are being hunted by an invisible hunting enemy man calls the Corona Virus. It is not a Creature he says, It has No life he says. but it latches on to the human body gets into the inner organs and grows inside the human body on many organs until the human dies.
Mans education system is so weak that people do not know what a Virus is and refer to them as Bacteria and Pests and Parasites and we have a National leader suggesting that we humans can kill the Virus errrr Bacteria errrr parasite what ever by injecting disinfectants to kill the virus

In conclusion whatever happened to all the Gods the humans pray to every day. The Ramas & the Krishna's for Hindus, Jesus for Christians, Budha for Buddhists, Allah for Muslims, Yahweh for Jews, Gurunanak For Sikhs, Tirthankara worshipped by Jains (and many more religions I may not even know about). Why don't these Gods save Mankind at this Juncture. Why have all preachers of Religions gone silent ?

IMHO Religion is Man Made to control the suprestitious masses through fear of the unknown which is life after death and about being rewarded or punished for what you did in this life.
I believe in Spirituality and Mother Earth and Nature as my God, Love is God, Truth is God and my Inner Voice I call Conscience is God
You can think about this. If you don't agree it is fine as you are entitled to your beliefs and faiths.
We do not have to cross swords and kill each other for this. To Each his Own.
