125 - Name one thing in this world that is "REAL",

I often have early Morning Dreams that come true making them Premonitions or a Question which has multiple answers, depending on who is giving the answer as they are often Reflection of their Minds.

Received the following answers, but I wrote my article before these answers arrived

"Mother"

"Mothers Love" ( Me: For the lucky one yes . there are children not loved by their mothers. RM: You asked what I believe is real in this world, it didn't mention to indicate one thing that's real and felt by everyone, If that's the criteria then it becomes "LIFE"

"Soil or Mitti " - all our Food Grows From Soil ,

"Family",

"Change" - as everything changes with time and keeps us moving", (Very interesting line of thinking)

"Birth and Death",

"Fire" (Life must be Burning Hell for this poor Soul)

"Me! I think therefore I am. ðŸĪŠ As put succinctly by Krauth (1872), "That cannot doubt which does not think, and that cannot think which does not exist. I doubt, I think, I exist."

(Very Close to my Line of Thinking 🙌😇😇😇)

Parents love for their children

😊 Existence Of God Is Self Evident. If You Believe You Will See

Fate or Kismat 😊

Good & Goodness

"God" (Me: Is Real ? Can you prove this ? SH: Yes ,,, in the miracles of daily life .. the sun ,moon and stars and flowers

"Life" ( Me: Where does it begin and where does it end ?)

"Torture"

"Unconditional Love". (Mmmm this sounds like Blind Faith, to me, hardly exists between human beings. Pets give you their unconditional love perhaps but they are caged animals ( meaning dogs cannot move about freely and are on a leash outside the home and depend on you for food resulting in what appears to be unconditional love)

Pets:

My very first thought was "MOTHER".

As of October 2020, the world Population is 7.8 billion and each and every one of them needed a mother to give birth to them. My argumentative Mind said but then the Mothers themselves were born to other Mothers ??. Mothers are just bearers of children and have their own independent lives. Mothers just carry babies until birth after which the child can survive and grow into adults.  Definitely not father as Mothers tell us who the father is and we believe that. Unless proved by DNA. There are times when the mothers themselves do not know who the father of her child is.. That is another topic. Sorry for digressing.

"Mother's Love" perhaps may be Real ?. Not really as it is not Universal. There are Mothers who detest their own children, especially if they dislike their father.

A Mother helps produce and nurture the body of the baby. There is no doubt about that.

But then who Creates "Me" meaning "My Soul and My Conscience" ?. Definitely not Mother

Family and Friends are merely the support structure no different to the scaffolds used temporarily in building construction, until concrete sets and is able to take the load. They are there to support until you are able to stand on your own two legs.

Family you are born into and have no choice. Luck plays a big role in the kind of family you are born into.

As for Friends, you acquire them if you like them and then some friend can turn into enemy and become "Frienemy", the worst relationship in life as they know all your secrets which you family do not and can destroy a person with the same secrets. Perhaps what happened to Sushant Singh Rajput. Who Knows? Definitely not the family :-). We can drop so called friends when they become a nuisance. Friends are mostly a floating population having some input or impact on your life at different stages. Most friends are in for a reason and a season. Handful may share your entire life journey. People who move around are like rolling stones and gather no moss' meaning if you as an individual keep moving and live in various places, you may not have very close friends who care.

"Love" : As for Love between a man and a woman. This I believe this is the weakest form of love as can be seen from divorces and broken families. Often I have listed all my family and friends to see which Married Couple is "TRULY IN LOVE" and to this day I have not come across even one.

Marriage is a contract to live together officially and raise children. etc etc.. Monogomy and Marriage are Man Made if we are to be truthful.

During the Honeymoon years both partners bend over backwards to please each other blindsided by what they believe is "Love". How long the Honeymoon lasts Varies and depends on "How Madly" in love the couple are. More often than not this love is infatuation to a great extent. A "Couple in 2020" is not just man and woman but same sex too remember :-)

The thousands of whatsapp forwards exchanged by men amongst themselves about wives are a reflection of what men experience after the honeymoon ends. They all feel they got used

I am sure women feel the same way too. No one is at fault but the man made concept of Marriage a flawed contract. Animals are smarter from this point of view.

Relationships:

A Tamil Dialogue from the Movie "Thooku Thooky" has to be included here ( apologies to those who do not know Tamil. I have included a translation that follows)

THUKU THOOKI (Tamil Movie)

Kondu vanthal thanthai
(A Father will Welcome you when you bring wealth)
Konduvanthalum varavittalum thai
(Whether you bring wealth or not, Mother is always there for you)
Seer konduvanthal sakothari
(Sisters love brothers who bear gifts)
Kolaiyum seival pathhini
(A wife is even capable of murdering a husband)
Uyir Kappan Thozhan
(A "REAL" friend will even put his neck on the line to Save your life)

( No Need to say any more on Relationships)

So what is Real in this Life Boils down to "ME"

"Me! I think therefore I am. ðŸĪŠ ( Very Close to my Line of Thinking 🙌😇😇😇)
This was the best Response I received today.

Let us Take a close look at "Me"

"Me" again is not Really one entity but Two joined by Fate, meaning the "BODY and SOUL"

None of us chose to whom we were to be born, in which part of the world, white, olive, yellow, brown or black, Male or Female (- the difference being just one chromosome) Rich, Poor, Healthy or with disabilities,

So the Body is not Real either and is just temporary, probably rented accommodation for the Soul.  That the body is temporary like an automobile for the journey on earth is true as these days you can add a starter Motor called a Pace Maker battery operated or a deFibrilator, You can change the engine in the body with a heart transplant, and faulty hydraulics can be fixed with bypass surgeries. You can have the stomach removed and continue to live, Waterpumps can be replaced with donor kidneys, Damaged or cut off limbs can be replaced with prosthetics.

So the Body is not "REAL" is it.

The ONLY Real thing in this LIFE is SOUL

"Me! I think therefore I am. ðŸĪŠ As put succinctly by Krauth (1872), "That cannot doubt which does not think, and that cannot think which does not exist. I doubt, I think, I exist."

(Very Close to my Line of Thinking 🙌😇😇😇)

Now Who am I ? is the million dollar question.

Where I came from I do not remember and where I will go after this life I have no clue. Yet I have this uncanny feeling that I have lived before elsewhere and my experiences in my previous life surface from time to time and reinforced by my inner voice in guiding me through this current journey. It is as if this past memory is stored in the Cloud to be accessed when necessary or even by just plain intuition.

This reminds me of this Favourite song of mine by Kishore Kumar.

<

and this again reminds me of a song I wrote a few years back

Main Kaun Hoon ?
By Ram Krishnaswamy

Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha
Mein Kaun Hoon ??

Mein Baahar sae dhaek rahaa hoon
Yeh Badan to Mera Nahin
Sirf is Zindagi kae liyae
Yeh shareer humko milee
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zhindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha

Mein Sirf Mein Hoon
Naa Naar, Naa Nari
Afsoos hoon, Afsoos hoon Mein Ki
Mein Hindu, Musalman yaa Isahee
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha

Naa Yeh Rishtha Naa Yeh Daulat
Naa Yeh Pyaar Naa Yeh Mohabbat
Hamari hai Sabb Jhoota Hai,
Sabb Jhoota Hai
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha

Jab mein aakhiri saans lae lun
Mera naam Ghum Jaayaega
Sab Dhuk sae ronae lagengae
Aur haemin samajnae naa payaa ki
Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha

Mein Kaun Hoon, Mujko Nahi Patha
Yeh Zindagi Kyon Rae, Thu Hi Batha

Honestly I still do not know what life is all about and where so many people whom I loved went after their death and every day more and more are departing

God only knows where they are going and all we say is "May his or her Soul Rest in Peace"

Think we should have CBI investigate this also :-)

I included the CBI for a Chuckle but then I suddenly realise CBI holds the answer to something REAL in this Life.

Just like the CBI was called a "Caged Bird" by the Supreme Court of India, each and every one of us is a "Caged Bird" stuck with a Mortal Body.

The Fact that we are all Caged Birds is REAL

PS: I received one Late entry just now on 9th Oct

Shanks: You cant see it, hear it or feel it but, it is there and that is  : "KARMA"

Me: Karma and God, you can't hear them, see them or Feel them. In My opinion, not that it matters, "What is Real" in this life is what we can see, hear and feel not what we imagine. Concept of God and Karma are not universal and no one can prove these are Real. They are both Belief Systems. We don't know if a Devil is Real either

9th Oct 2020

This arrived after I shared my article with my network of family and friends..

Vickram: The Descartesian philosophy you have identified is, although this may seem a little argumentative, perhaps not the defining factor of reality, for humans.
How can this be so? The origins of biological evolution, about which more is learned on an almost daily basis, and which was in its infancy during Descartes' time.
To summarise, the ability to think that he expressed was, in retrospect, a very anthropocentric point of view. Knowing more today makes us more humble.
We now realise that what we think of as thinking isn't entirely so. What we think of as mind isn't entirely so either. Astonishingly, the pinnacle upon which we place our brains, as the sole neural processors of our actions, isn't entirely so either.
A very humbling, and yet exciting, awareness.

Me: Can you Please explain Boss, almost like Sashi Tharoor's Tweet. Did you and Sashi Tharoor go to the same school by any chance ? Dont think even the queen can write this kind of English ?
Am awaiting explanation. will include when it arrives.
I don't even know Who I am to Think what I am, Vic So who are we?

Vic: Descartes was the philosopher whose line of thinking is expressed in the simple 'I think, therefore I am'. That simplicity, unfortunately, at one level conceals a faith based foundation, repugnant to thinking people, and at another ignores the contributions of fantastic philosophers and thinkers that have filled the centuries since his time, right up to the modern age, with Minsky, who deeply analysed the foundations of application of neural technologies to what we must test and continue to test as 'thinking'.

Not doing so leads us into accepting the trap set by venal business people like Nandan Nilekani, who deliberately twist that understanding into trying to get people to accept that 'artificial intelligence' gives us reliable results on which to base society.

We are those who are accepting enough to realise that we are on a journey, and not autocratic criminals who impose our decisions on others.
