Good Morning to You.

A Professor gave a Balloon to each student and asked them to Inflate it, write their Name on it and throw the Balloon into the Hallway. The Professors then mixed all the Balloons, 150 of them, went back into the Lecture Hall and told the students to go find their balloon.

Not one student found his/her balloon despite the hectic search. Everyone's Balloon was definitely there yet no one was able to find their Own Balloon. The search was hectic, the hallway was full of balloons with no moving space and most gave up searching. Then there was this jubilant voice that said. “I found mine” But then the girl realised she had made a mistake. It belonged to a namesake.

At this point the Professor told the students to take the first balloon they found and to hand it to the person whose name was on it. Within five Minutes even one had their own Balloon.

The Professor then told the Students “These Balloons are like Happiness. We will never find it if we are all looking for our own Happiness, but if we care about finding other people's Happiness, we will find our Happiness too”

A Big Thanks to my Good Friend “Hassan in Aukland” for this Inspirational message which to me is the balloon of Happiness. I feel elated and am in high spirits this morning and itching to do something special. It is raining so no gardening today; and that means penning an article on the Plight of Indian Farmers which was partially discussed at our groups Weekly Saturday night Zoom session and has been chosen as the topic for our next Saturday session. Remember Covid is the Common enemy that was required to bring people closer together, despite our differences. But for Covid, Zoom just meant Travel Fast. For example “Kids were zooming in and out of the house all day” or the Camera zoomed in for greater details”

“Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Folks” Be there for others during this difficult period” as Hassan says. You will be Surprised by the Positive outcome. We do not have to travel places to find happiness. It is there all around us and some me will fetch it for us.

Cheers

Ram,
Sydney

PS: To tell you the truth, Hassan sent me a JPG file and that means I had to share on WhatsApp one at a time and that would take me hours. So I keyed this in, in Mac Pages and Silly me I don’t know how to add emojis. :-)
