438 - MY BUDDY VICKRAM CRISHNA - AN IIT DELHI ALUMNUS,

In our Journeys through Life on Earth, each one of us is connected by destiny to some extraordinarily special people.

It was my good fortune to connect with Vickram Crishna, who is an IIT Delhi Alumnus, through IIT Global Yahoo Groups which I created in June 2002 after an early morning premonition sitting in London, UK in my sisters apartment. 

IIT Global Groups Blossomed and grew as well as mushroomed into several Sub Interests Groups and Vickram was an active member of "IIT Global Renewable Energy Group" thinking of ways and means to light up the World sans Fossil Fuels.

"Face is the Index of the Mind" is an Old adage outdated. These days I can tell a person from what they Write on Social media. "What you write is the Index of your Mind" 

I took to Vickram straight away, as he was extraordinarily intelligent, loved outside the box thinking and quick witted.

Basically my Cup Of Tea and even in 2022 we still carry on in Whatsapp on a Daily Basis.

Meet My Buddy Vickram Crishna:-

In the New Year I asked the Junta:- 

"Assuming, We are all domesticated Creatures of Sorts, tell me if you think you are more of a domesticated Cat or more of a domesticated Dog or 50/50 like me 😜😜😜"

Vickram writes:- 50/50, and the rest mouse 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Me: Vic, With a B Tech from IITD, you should know after you have used 50/50 there is no rest left

Vic: I used irrational numbers, you should know that

He had me straight away 😜😜😜😜 the Rat 🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭 (not Mouse) and I had to Confess " Yes Vic, I skipped those maths classes and went to the canteen at "Knick-Knack" for an Indian Omlette with Onions and green chillies on toast and tea under the mango tree.

Vic and I actively Opposed Nandan Nilekani's "Not so Unique ID" which was a blatant copy of the US Social Security Card which is not to be used as an ID card in USA. In a Country like India which has no laws on Right to Freedom of Speech leave alone Privacy, having a UID called Aadhaar now is like Walking Naked in the Park. 

Not too far away from now all Indians will have a microchip implanted at Birth same as is done with Cats and Dogs in OZ to help identify them.

That is another story Let me not digress.

I have known Vicram, more as an "Electrocuter" than an "Elocuter" as he wants to call himself :-)

As I was Growing up my Mother always Said "Tell me who your Friends are and I will tell you Who you are ?"

Amma "Vic is one of my closest buddies for last 20 years now. Now Tell me who I am ? Now don't be influenced by his overbearing unkempt moustache it is all show as he is a "Self Confessed Mouse"

Also remember Talented Indians have to go overseas to get Recognition. Recognition in India is Mostly Mathlabhi, Like I give you an award if you will tow the line or do me favours. 

For example How Many Indians Know about Indian Engineer Dr.Jayant Baliga ( also MY Classmate at IITM)  and how his invention has saved the world Trillion of Dollars in Energy consumption. He is also the first Indian to make it to the Hall of Fame in USA along with Marconi and Thomas Alva Edison
