040 - Pill Testing Saga in NSW

Premier Gladys Berejiklian is playing God when even Godmen from the Churches are telling her that if Pill Testing can save just one life, it is worth the effort.

Agree Pill Testing cannot guarantee that a pill tested and approved as Safe does not guarantee that it will not kill as there are so many other factors like alcohol, heat, dehydration, type of drug , quantity of drugs consumed, time taken to consume the drugs, general fatigue from dancing and above all overdosing from fear of being sniffed by police dogs and fear of being apprehended by police and parents getting to know.

I am a senior citizen who enjoys electronic music and have attended Park Life Festivals and FOMO in Sydney. I am allergic to Sunlight so I am fully covered on a hot day and wearing a jacket and a lanyard holding my phone and pass to the festivals. I find a cool shade under a tree and watch the goings on at the festival, watching the kids as I am enjoying the music.

I notice the kids who are close by are nervous seeing this old man standing and watching over them. Many quickly get up and move away. I see many fumbling in their pockets and taking out stuff and putting them in their underpants and bras, obviously hiding a few pills thinking I might be a Security guy.

One Young man walks up to me and says "Sir are you Security ?" I say "No I am a Guest as My sons company hosts this event". He shakes my hand and says Phew we were scared shit. I told him to go and have fun.

Yes FUN is what Music Events are all about and FUN is what kids come to these events for.

Unfortunately Music Festivals are great opportunity for illegal drug manufacturers to push illegal drugs in larger volumes in one venue with so many potential buyers. There are many young people wanting to make a quick buck so they buy in large quantities and get them into venues in a million different ways to make a quick buck, including hiding them in body cavities and underwear etc. Some even get to the venuea few days early and hide them where only they can find them.

As a Parent and a Grand parent and as a spiritual person and as a senior citizen I do not like elected politicians like Premier Gladys Berejiklian playing God. To be honest she was not elected Premier in the first place and became Premier by default when Mike Baird stepped down and the following elections she might want to believe she won but the truth is Labour party shot themselves in the foot. She is not listening to what every one is saying, not listening to people from music industry, not listening to Church goers assuming she is a staunch christian, and not listening to COMMON SENSE.

I have a few questions for Premier Gladys Berejiklian

  1. Would you allow all Parliamentarians to be searched before entering parliament ?
  2. Would You allow Sniffer dogs to sniff the genitals of all parliamentarians to smell for drugs?
  3. Dogs will always be Dogs even if they are trained to sniff drugs they will definitely sniff shit and sniff human genitals.
  4. Would you allow a dog sniff a teenager nephew or niece who is petrified of dogs
  5. Would you like your family members strip searched by Police for no reason other than the young girl was pretty and some cops wanted to see her naked.
  6. If you have never smoked or taken drugs when young then you do not know what you are talking about.
  7. Yes Pill Testing does not guarantee any thing but if it saves just one teenager who made a mistake, it makes a world of a difference to that one person and the family and community at large.
  8. Lastly hand picking music festivals where tragedies have occurred and listing just 14 of them is unlawful and discriminatory. Drugs are rampant at all festivals not just the ones penalised. Licencing should apply to all music festivals are NONE
  9. Pill Testing at a Music festival venues is WRONG. Nation wide there are as many as ten deaths a day from drug overdose. Pill testing has to be done outside the venue and one permanent testing booth per district and can save many more lives. This will also reduce the number of illegal drug manufacturers as if tests prove lethal then word gets around and sales plummet.
Common sense tells me that if Ecstasy pills are manufactured and supplied legally through chemists and at reasonable price with necessary information on how to stay safe, we could be saving so many more kids on a daily basis and not just at music festivals.

But when did Politicians Act with Common Sense.

Will some one tell Premier Gladys Berejiklian about NSW Premier Neville Wran and what happened to his daughter ?

Prohibited drugs are not taken just by poor kids in the Western Suburbs. The problem is much worse in the Eastern & Northern suburbs with the elite rich and famous.

Let not Common Sense Die.
